Within Temptation
Andando por allí en búsqueda de nueva música, me he topado con una banda que con sólo escuchar sola canción quedé cautivado en seguida. Impresionante, le dieron en el clavo. Es mi estilo de música: voz melodiosa, gótica, coros gregorianos { jaja }, una tipa con una voz increíble como cantante, y por supuesto: ROCK! { gothic rock para ser más exactos }. Su estilo según la wikipedia recae en: doom metal, gothic metal, atmospheric metal, gothic rock. Tienen un estilo muy similar a Evanescence. Yei, nuevo trauma añadido a la lista de traumas.
La banda se llama Within Temptation, y hasta ahora la canción Ice Queen { cuya letra es impresionate } de su disco Mother Earth, y See Who I am y Jillian de su disco The Silent Force, son mis favoritas. Within Temptation es una banda Holandesa formada allá por 1990, pero no fue hasta 1997 que se hicieron conocer con el lanzamiento público de su primer disco. Hasta el momento, han publicado 4 albums: Enter { 1997 }, Mother Earth { 2000 }, The Silent Force { 2004 }, y The Hear of Everything { 2007 }. En lo personal The Silent Force me parece espectacular, y el mejor. Aquí el link al sitio oficial de ellos, el cual cuenta con un diseño interesante desde el punto de vista de diseñador y de usabilidad: bonito, limpio, de carga rápida, simple, temático, y acorde a la banda. Buena mezcla de Flash + CSS, y dirección artistica.
